Abstract
İnsan, yaşamı boyunca hem kendini hem de kendisinin dışında olan şeyleri anlamak ve keşfetmek ister. Bu anlayış ve keşif yolculuğunda potansiyellerini fark ettikçe daha da arttırmak ve hatta sonsuz olabilmek gayesiyle de döneminin imkân ve koşullarını her zaman en üst düzeyde kullanmaya gayret eder. 21. yüzyıla gelindiğinde hümanizmi üst boyutlara taşıyarak insan üstü boyutuna varan aynı insan, transhümanizmin getirdiği aygıtlar, biyoteknolojik icatlar, yapay zekâ, siborg ve nano robotiklerle ölümsüzlüğe giden yolları aramıştır. Ölümsüz olmak arzusu, sosyal bilimler ve tıp sahasında teknoloji ve bilimin ilerlemesine paralel olarak birçok konuda teorik ve pratik alanda daha cesur atılımların yapılmasına imkân hazırlamıştır. Aynı zamanda, bu yolda çabalayan insan, etik problemlerin odak noktası hâline gelerek kendini birçok çıkmazın içinde bulmuştur. İnsan; mutlu olmayı, genç kalmayı, estetik yönde doyumsuz istekleri ve sonsuz kalabilmek arzusu ile birtakım bedeller de öder. Bu bedellerin başında, insanın kendi bedenine dışardan yapılan müdahaleler ve uygulamalarla fizyolojik ve biyolojik olarak göz ardı edilemeyecek problemlerin de beraberinde gelmesi yer alır. Ayrıca problemler, etik, psikolojik ve sosyokültürel boyutlarıyla her dönemde ciddi tartışma konusu olmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra, gelişen teknoloji ve bilim, insan için büyük kolaylıklar ve umutlar doğurmuştur. Bunlara paralel olarak, insanın varoluş sürecinde gelişen tıp, biyoetik ve ölümsüzlük konuları önemli tartışma meseleleri olmaktadır.

Throughout life, humans want to understand and discover both themselves and things outside themselves. As he realizes his potential in this journey of understanding and discovery, he always strives to use the opportunities and conditions of his period at the highest level in order to increase them even more and even become infinite. In the 21st century, the same human being, who took humanism to higher levels and reached a superhuman dimension, searched for ways to immortality with the devices brought by transhumanism, biotechnological inventions, artificial intelligence, cyborgs, and nano robotics. The desire to be immortal has paved the way for bolder breakthroughs in many theoretical and practical fields in parallel with the advancement of technology and science in the field of social sciences and medicine. At the same time, people who strive on this path have become the focus of ethical problems and found themselves in many impasses. People pay some prices for their insatiable desires to be happy, to stay young, to be aesthetically pleasing and to remain eternal. Foremost among these costs, external interventions and applications to one's own body bring about physiological and biological problems that cannot be ignored. In addition, the problems have been the subject of serious debate in every period with their ethical, psychological, and sociocultural dimensions. In addition, developing technology and science have created great conveniences and hopes for humans. In parallel with these, the issues of medicine, bioethics and immortality, which develop throughout the human existence, are important topics of discussion.
